What is Healing Touch?

Healing Touch is a complementary modality that supports and helps balance the whole person – physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.  Every person is innately designed for self-healing, but life’s challenges, traumas and hurts may cause us to become off-balance.  When nurtured and restored, self-healing can return, and a person may experience healing, growth, and transformation.

For many, self-healing has been the change in life they longed for.  Others resolve pain, disease, anxiety, depression, or addiction.  Lisa guides her clients through the process and supports their goals with energy-balancing techniques chosen according to the issues presented.

Energy therapies focus on removing energy congestion that forms in our energy fields (aura) and energy centers (chakras). Healing Touch facilitates a deep sense of calm and relaxation as well as overall and specific responses for body-mind-spirit healing. A session is usually given with the client laying on a treatment table, wearing comfortable clothing. With your permission, the practitioner uses his/her hands to assess your energy system. She/he proceeds to clear and balance it as needed using either above-body touch (near body but no direct contact) or a gentle, still touch over various areas of the body.
